I think La Tech's AD is former ISU AD. What a fool to let that opportunity slip away when he wasn't assured of another bowl bid. He and ferentz would be great for each other.

No, LA Tech turned down the Independence Bowl, hoping they would get in the Liberty Bowl. But the Liberty Bowl took ISU instead, and left LA Tech high and dry.

Far superior? Really? So is 12-1 Northern Illinois far superior to a 7-5 USC team? USC would smoke them. Tulsa is 10-3 we beat them by 15. Record isn't everything.
