The Hawks are missing solid fullback play - been missing all season. A run & pass blocker/pass outlet option has been non-existent all year. Limits alot of what we try to do. Add to that the unusually poor to non-existent tight end play. Tight end blocking has been poor. Tight ends pass catching has sucked - these are big parts of our offense. It allows defenses to key on McNutt. Play calling is tough when 2/3rds of your options are limited due to personnel. Vandy lacks experience and gets happy feet. Lots of pressure on the QB to deliver, but options aren't available. We simply can't execute what we want to do. Youth has led to more turnovers - predictable. We knew the defense would improve with experience. I'm proud of the effort the D has given every game since the Michigan game. They've improved every game. These last four games were our toughest and the D played well enough to win games for us. If the offense would have given them a little rest, the D would have looked even better. 7-5 meets my expectations with new QB, young inexperienced D. Expecting more was unrealistic. Lots of pre-bowl practice....we'll play our best game in the bowl & regardless of the opponent, we'll play great & be hard to beat. Young team, lots of great talent will gel. Next year should be fun! Coach haters - go root for the huckers or clowns - you are not loyal true Hawk fans spinning crap all the time.
