Matt Campbell has a really great defensive scheme in his 3-3-5. The problem for him is the way to counter that kind of defense is to start putting in TE's and FB's and you got an in-state rival that naturally wants to be that team. Iowa St. under Campbell is going to be at a disadvantage schematically unless either Iowa or ISU want to change it up (and that's not looking like it's happening anytime soon). I think if Campbell was in the B1G East as a coach, he would give PSU and tOSU absolute fits. I just don't think it's an apples to apples comparison saying "look how Purdue and Wisconsin have success against Iowa, why doesn't Iowa St.?"
