Jon your commnets on purdue

One thing worth considering here is whether Rudock is the true second string right now and how that impacts the scenario is the goal in benching JVB would be to prep a new QB for the future. If Sokol is the true second string, it may benefit Iowa a lot more in the long-term to have Sokol redshirt and retain two years of eligibility.

But Jon in 07 jake had showed some flashes of what he could become. And in 08 jake's performance was terrible while him and stanzie were battling for the position. But they were battling for the position. There isnt even a qb controversy with the coaches this year. They didn't know what they had in wiseman till he hit the field so let's see what the back up has on the field because I don't believe it could be a whole lot worse then what we have seen through the half of the season.

Frankly, you people don't know jack **** about what a quarterback has to do. Its not just fading back and choosing between the X Y and Z buttons on your xbox controller.

I have a PS3...seems someone doesn't know **** either. :) Just messing with ya!

I'm not searching for some thing negative. I was just showing how Jon can call for another teams qb to benched for lack of skills, playmaking ability, or what ever but he hasn't said the same thing about JVB. When we all have watched the games and have seen JVB struggle. The games we have won, we won inspite of JVB's playing. Would we be worse off or better with out JVB in the back field? That's the question. And I don't think Jon has not stated his opinion on that to my knowledge. What he says is that the coaches must believe JVB gives us our best chance to win. Not what he thinks they should do.

There is a big difference here. We've seen a lot of both TerBush and Marve. We've only seen three or four practices with Rudock.
