Michigan boards (Scout). Now they're saying Harbaugh is NOT out of the picture. Any insight would be great. I find that whole thing very interesting.

I've always thought about doing that. I've been a member over at the CFN Big Ten board for 5 or so years. Really great group of posters over there. The board is kind of limited though, but everyone likes it.

I'd love a more centralized place to talk about Big Ten football in general. Team boards typically attract more crazies. The Big Ten board is full of more rational and non extremist posters.

I doubt that I have the time to dedicate to creating a new board by myself, but I'd love to help out someone else in any way I could, because I think it is a great idea.

Also, they are now saying that Rich-Rod has not been fired, as he is still in a meeting with the AD, and they pushed the players meeting back from 7:00pm tonight to 4:00pm tomorrow.

Many claims from the "experts" that Harbaugh is still in the mix.

...really nuts over there. And I think it'd be funny if they kept RR another year.

Man, what a kick in the nuts to the haters...
 
Rich Rod must have some compromising pictures of somebody in the michigan administration if he is still in a meeting to keep his job.

Because Deace is a fan, and as a fan he is refusing to accept the sad truth even while it stares him in his face. He has no inside information on the Michigan situation although he acts like he does (never says that he does, but acts like it).

Nobody cares about Deace, how do you know Harbaugh doesn't want the Michigan job?

he knows more about college football than the entire combination of this football board with the exception of fufred. fufred would put us over the top.

Yeah, because he really nailed all of his projections and picks...

I guess time will tell who will be right. When that time comes, the IFG butt kissing line starts behind Imported Ankle.

And you are also a fan, who has no inside information. You might know that Deace can't know (for the reasons you gave), but you can't know what's going on in Harbaugh's mind any better than Deace does, for the same reasons.

dude (ette) you can't sense the sarcasm of my post? i'm not kissing anyones butt.....maybe my wife....but especially not a self-proclaimed Iowa-hater. especially not.

If Harbaugh wants the job? If his agent is smart, he would have asked Jim a month ago, which job he wanted: Denver, SF, Miami Dolphins or Michigan/Stanford. No matter what Jim's answer was, his agents best reply would be "okay, here's how we're going to play this, and we will maximize our pay."

Pretty simple to play this game. And the longer he toys with Michigan, the more the big boosters get anxious, and excited, and start throwing money around until.....they hit the required number.

Harbaugh could be just another "hopeful" head coach in the NFL, or he could be an absolute Rockstar in Michigan.
