Only health will drive Norm away, he will be back unless something has changed very very recently.

I'm not sure this one has legs frankly.

I am afraid of Soup leaving!!!! He has been the best coaching addition we have had since KF has taken over. IMO.

If it was Norm leaving I doubt any big announcement would come prior to signing day unless his health had taken a bad sudden turn. The Soup thing could happen and would frankly make more sense if someone wanted to announce his joining them before the signing day. I was hoping he could be a future o-coordinator.

It's about the only thing that makes much sense to me IF IF IF the story has legs.

Nothing major is happening at least on the D side. Norm will be back. If he wasn't there would be some shakin' on the lower brances of the tree.

I am real surprised that Iowa has had so much continuity through the years. That has been amazing.

I dont think KOK is going anywhere, and like others have said, Norm is done when he decides its time to hang it up and I don't think that is now. I think these guys feel they have a shot at something next year that perhaps none of them has attained.

Soup was talked about for a directional Michigan job, but that came and went. I don't know how many head coaching jobs are even still available at some of the smaller schools. We won't hear anything solid until after signing day...which is usually the case. If anything, it would be NFL opportunities (not sure that I see that) or coordinator positions at smaller schools...and not sure I see that either.

OK guys it's time to come forward. I've accepted the OC position on my neighbors kids Pop Warner team. I didn't want to come public with it as my team of virbrating table football players no doubt will feel let down. However they were eliminated from the playoffs yesterday by the mighty might blue team and I felt it appropriate to talk about it now.

Soup Campbell is our WR coach. Previously he was the WR coach at Michigan, who I hear has had some success with their football program in the past.

How hard can his job be, though, really? "Hey you! Run down there really fast. Then, turn around and catch the football with your hands." ;)
