In 3 years he will flee to the Sun Belt conference to win a conference tourney. He is a used car salesman and I'm so glad we are starting to dig ourselves out of the hole HE put our program in.

Um...maybe it's time for you to go for a re-read. Abraham, Isaac and the long walk is very similar to what Alford is experiencing, most likely. He feels like he just lead his team to the sacrificial altar. Except, this time, God didn't spare the "child".
