Jon Miller.

Simple yes or no. I understand you run a website that many people including myself love. With all the information you have and all the information you gather from players (former and current). Should Greg Davis be fired/pushed in to retiring?

Yes. I've said since very early this year that if there is a Greg Davis 2015 era, then Kirk has put himself in the same doomed boat. I'd be fine if Kirk made a change this week, but that won't happen.

However, a huge part of the problem is the hybrid of what Greg wants and what Kirk wants....it's a horrific marriage akin to Michael Jackson and Elvis' daughter...or Kenny Chesney and Rene Zellweger.

You pop culture references confuse me.

Greg Davis is now the unfrozen caveman offensive coordinator. In his day first downs were three yards away, thus all the 2 yard outs. IT ALL MAKES SENSE NOW!!!! 10 yard first downs frighten and confuse him! He may not know much about our modern football, or have gone to law school, but he does know this Kirk Ferentz is not guilty. Thank you very much.

I get tired of all of the short passes as well but is it possible that he's forced to craft an offense of short passes because he knows Jake has a, well, less-than-strong arm and can't hit the intermediate routes? Maybe GD wants CJB to start but Kirk insists on JR so GD has to tailor make to offense to suit JR's limitations.

Just another wacky conspiracy theory I suppose.

What would it matter? Ferentz is running the show. Nothing will change until he does.

This is exactly right. No offense to Mr. Miller, but Ferentz couldn't give a tinker's damn about what he or the rest of us think. This is his toy and he will do what he wants until someone in authority, Mr. Barta, for instance, would demand better results than we are getting, similar to the ultimatum he gave Alford. Unfortunately, I don't believe Barta has the sack for this job and frankly, I would like to see both of them relocated. However, I won't be holding my breath on that proposition.

Apparently, based on recent "enhancement activity", Rene Zellweger and Michael Jackson would have been a much better pairing. In fact, Kenny Chesney and Elvis' daughter would have been a better match, too!
