Jok quit on his team

I don't think he quit either, i just think he didn't have the legs he had earlier in the year and his body language was horrible.

I should add that being one of two seniors on the team, I don't believe he quit, with that being his last shot at getting back to the tournament.

The team will be better next year without him. Sure he might have averaged 20+ points per game, but when you factor in his horrible defense and the points he gave up directly, or indirectly by having to have others cover for him, then it's not 20+ points we have to replace. When you look at the offensive efficiency of this team when he wasn't on the court, and the vastly improved defense, it's pretty plain to see that this will be a much better team next year.

I agree 100% that we'll be a better team next year. But this team needed him early on to help them grow. Once they got their feet wet and figured out how to play at a high level, his need to carry the team diminished, but early on in the season he was exactly what we needed.

When a player is tight on him, he really needs to not dribble as he seems to continuously dribble it off his leg or turn it over.

Jok is going to be the fall guy for many, because he's the team leader. Regardless of him having a rough day, in my opinion it was the entire team that choked. One player is not solely responsible for that bad of a loss.

I definitely agree with your post with the caveat that I wouldn't say the "whole" team choked. I felt that 3 guys really showed up and played their guts out. Pemsel, Jbo and Moss. Sadly those 3 freshman were the only reason we were in the game as long as we were.

Serious Question...Did Baer quit on the team? He played 21 minutes with 3 points and no rebounds. And he did not play good defense IMO.

Did Cook quit on his team? He didn't play good defense IMO. And he missed 3 point blank shots at the rim.

IMO Bohannon, Moss and Pemsl played well. Others struggled. But I don't think anyone "quit" on their teammates.

Nobody quit on anyone, but I do think there is a correlation to Baer having a horrible game and our second half blow out. Baer is the "heart of the team". It becomes hard to breathe when your heart flutters. Im not blaming Baer at all as he was due for a bad game as he has had so many good ones leading up. I was just hoping we could hold it together for 1 more game.
