Jok arrested again

He needs to be taught a lesson. Such poor judgment is not good for him. Fran needs to get his attention. But there needs to be some leadership from his teammates. Nothing gets a kids attention like his pears. Didn't Tarp get one of our OL attention after his Moped DWI

Someone who doesn't have enough sense to fix their vehicle before they drive without a license probably won't make it 3 more years without getting in enough trouble to warrent being kicked off the team.
That's what I'm afraid of as well.... It's not even the what he did/didn't do. It's the common sense that he doesn't seem to have. Does he not have friends/family/coaches that should have walked him through step by step what he should do after the 1st go around? I'd like to know if he even thought it was illegal to drive a moped without a license/revoked.... Not sure whats worse knowing or not both is pretty bad. Oh well sure hope he gets his stuff together I along with all of us don't want him to become a what if story.

Stupid once = 1 game suspension
Stupid twice = 5 game suspension I hope

Kid has a lot to learn off the court.

Umm, Peter Jok riding around town on a moped is going to be easily recognizable, folks. Forget about the missing flag. It's not like he's going to just blend in with all the other moped riders. The cops all know he had a previous OWI and if they see him driving with or without a flag or broken light, they'll pull him over. .Just a poor decision to continue to drive

Getting arrested twice isn't a big deal? He knew he didn't have a license. He knew he couldn't drive, yet he did anyway.

Gotta think there will (and should be) some type of game suspension

yeah good thing he didnt hit someone walking while drunk on his moped, drinking and driving big deal no matter what, hope you are being sarcastic

I'm pretty sure the reason the legal limit is set at .08 is because at .082 you run the risk of losing control of your moped and running over pedestrians.

Since he didn't get cited for a helmet violation, I will assume he was wearing one and therefore would have been less recognizable.

Get a bike, Peter. It was good enough for me in college....and will help build up those legs.

This is pure college kid stupidity, but that is no longer an excuse. He is a smart young man, and he knows better.
Sadly, it probably will result in a game or two suspension, which is not what we need to get this team rolling early as a new unit, with UNC, ISU, UNI, Texas, and Cuse waiting for early season tests that we need to win to have a shot at making the tourney. Bad omens already for this upcoming season.....not good.

How stupid can you be. If you just got an OWI, your *** better be sitting at home reading books every night, and taking public transportation or walking.

That, and if you are unsmart enough to choose to drive the moped on that suspended license, at least fix the light and get a flag...Pete isn't looking too smart here.

This exactly

I agree that it was not too bright of PJ to drive without a license, flag or tail light, and he should face suspension. But I think there are some overreactions here. He was basically driving at the legal limit. He wasn't swerving all over the road hitting cars and blowing a 0.3.

Iowa has no helmet law. Anyway, it doesn't sound like he's smart enough to wear one - even with no brake light.
