Parker was pretty much the DC the entire 2010 year and had tons of NFL talent on that team and flat out didn't get the job done at all...would hate to see how bad it would have been without all the NFL talent on that team.

You must remmember that he was still running Norms schemes and tendencies. Just maybe with ole' norm out of the picture, Phil would be a little more creative and use different schemes and tendencies.

He is a DB coach and just maybe we would see more man2man coverage with LB blitzs. Who knows at this point.

The only reason I still think Herrmann is a possibility is due to his current situation. You don't want anything to come out before the Super Bowl that could be a slight distraction to his team and now possibly you just want to let him fully enjoy the parade and all of the celebration that goes on with winning a Super Bowl. It's quite the accomplishment, so he should enjoy it a bit. Recruiting is over, the team isn't practicing, so it's not the end of the world to let the guy enjoy the victory.

Yeah, because if this news leaked the relentless New York media would camp out in front of his house because this is BIG news. Then there's the candlelight vigil that the Giants fans will hold in memory of his 3 years there as LB coach. It would be so hard for the Giants to enjoy the spoils of their victory with the devastating news that their linebacker coach is leaving.

I used the word slight for smart ***, want to be funny but aren't posters like you. You don't think Herrmann could have good relationships with some of his LBs on the Giants? You don't think it's best to avoid any and all distractions before playing in the Super Bowl?

Not this thread in particular, but the way people talk to other people on this board is what you see/hear in high school and middle school.

I don't hear people talk to other people in person like they do on here.
