Geil and Evans were not invited to August camp. They were not scheduled to be back in practice until the first day of school.

That has to be a kick in the gonads; basically like your girlfriend not inviting you to her birthday party.

I have to say I'd probably start look looking for another school if I wanted to play, or if I was after a degree I'd tell everybody sayonara and focus on school rather than go through workouts and all the bs knowing that my coaches didn't think I had the stuff to be part of the team. I'm not saying they deserve to be at camp, just what my reaction would be. Not only are you missing out on training, you're missing out on the intangible stuff like camaraderie and bonding with staff. The writing is one the wall.

I wonder what Troy thinks of his tweet insinuating having to commit to Troy is like a punch in the face?

I think he was probably making more of a shot at the Iowa staff than saying Troy is inferior. I read that as he was bitching about Iowa staff being unfair more so than him having to "settle" for Troy.
