I remember The General losing to Cleveland St. in the 1st round back in the '80s......Not sure what the seeding was, but I think Knight won a couple games after that one. A pretty big game too.....i think.....

The Iowa team that lost as a 3 seed was better than the ISU team that lost as a 2 seed. At least by the end of the year. That ISU team was running on fumes. They got pole-axed by Baylor in the Big 12 tournament. Not 2010 Baylor, 2001 Baylor.

You are an idiot, you do not live or die with a coach with one game. Nevermind the fact they won the game or he has been to two final fours. Who would want that? The fact is... he is one of the top three coaches in the game and for my money the top coach in the country!!

Don't tell that to me. Send it to CBS. that way they can explain how the 3 seed of Iowa who lost a few years ago was better than the most recent 2 seed to choke.................... They go through those numbers every year, I am sure they will care as much as I did about your post. Atleast ISU can make a case for the fact that they are relevant every March.

The majority of the people who post on here are intelligent. But I've seen some posts today that really make me scratch my head.
