What struck me was that he was practicing at the MIKE spot. And yeah ... he also impressive in the interview.

But, back on topic, getting reps at MIKE ... really? What does that imply about the race at the WILL spot for 2011? Maybe Tillison really is just a JR eligibility-wise? Maybe DiBona has made nice strides at the WILL spot? Interesting ... very interesting!

From what I've heard, he's already 230 as a TR FR. He doesn't need to be in any hurry to "bulk up" ... however, getting stronger will help him a lot, particularly when he gets to handling the responsibilities at the MIKE spot.

Unless KF changes things, that will be the last interview James has until 2011. All players available to media on opening session but freshmen off limits rest of season.

generally the media has access to freshmen during media day, then not again until their sophomore year.
