He is having a great season. I don't think he was healthy last year. He has certainly bounced back and shown what he can do this year. The 3 LBs may be the best part of this Iowa team.

No question they have been the best unit this year.

Desmond King should be a close second. He came up huge on third down stops and also recovered the fumble in the 4th...pretty big game changing moment

Good week for the BTN to feature Morris on ''The Journey''.....along with Minny's Haggeman, and some other player. Perfect timing for the Morris feature.

Great honor for James. Great game spying Colter.

I'd add that he did an awesome job of flowing to the ball; and then breaking down. Over pursuing and getting out of position has been a critique of him by many in the past.

He is definitely working to improve his legacy.

Morris played well but I thought Hitchens played better

Hitchens was all over the field, too, and he had the hit that caused the fumble that Morris recovered. I think that the player of the game was Kain Colter, but the Defensive POTW should have been the whole LB crew. Kirksey played a terrific game covering those short routes that have typically killed us vs jNW in the past.

It's funny about the fine line between winning a losing a game like this. The play of the game MAY have been the 15-yard penalty on Vitale after Colter had already gotten by the DE. Next play is the fumble by Trumpy on the option. Without that 15-yard penalty, jNW wins the game, IMHO.

Sack is a subset. I wish it was standalone. Frustrates me when I see the media brag about "2 sacks and 2 TFL!"

That's what everyone was saying after the game. There was plenty of discussion on talk shows about as well... At least one Hawk was note in Morris. Hitchens has had several articles written about his play, including a couple from this last game.... He will get his due.
