James/Durant irony

Plus KD has a beautiful jump shot and demands the ball in the 4th qtr of big games.

LB is a great player but until he develops a good jump shot and comes through
in the 4th qtr of big games I'll never consider him the "greatest to play the game."
Still can't believe Miami doesn't set more single/double screens for LB versus letting him go one on three in the 4th qtr.

What the Heat do on offense is slightly more organized than your average pickup game.

Facing up one on one outside the three point line is an absurd way to go about trying to score no matter how good you are. All five defenders are keyed in on the guy with the ball.

This thread was fun to read through now that we are finally seeing Durant have to try to carry a team in the playoffs by himself. He's finding out just how difficult it is, it's been incredibly smooth sailing for him during his first several seasons. Now comes the hard part, he's set the bar and the next step is to win a title. Just making a deep playoff run is now no longer enough. It's much easier to appear clutch when you can consistently take plays off while Westbrook or Harden step up. We shall see if Durant can come through when it matters with it all on his shoulders.

Anybody who hates Lebron is delusional. Dude is the best player in the game and it isnt close. No reason to hate him.

I would assume Durant will stay there for years with the team they have drafted over the last few years. They definitely have a strong nucleus to build around but I wouldn't be surprised if Westbrook goes somewhere else where he doesn't have to play in Durant's shadow. If they keep everyone in tact they will be tough to beat for years to come.

Go Thunder!

I hope he stays, but I see Durant playing the second half of his career somewhere else. He's from DC, so I wouldn't rule out New York, Philly, New Jersey or even Washington being his final team. Again, I hope he stays.

Washington will be a train wreck from here on out. He might be intrigued by playing with Jrue Holliday though, and maybe a healthy Andrew Bynum. If he goes to New York, Melo/Durant would be an epic 1-2 combo.

It's not looking good for Bynum to be healthy, let alone be in Philly. :)

Washington was actually one of the better Eastern Conference teams over the last few months with a healthy John Wall. The Beal-Wall backcourt combo is going to be a nice one. But Durant isn't going anywhere until 2016 at the earliest so who knows what the league will look like then.
