Jake Odum - (Indiana State)

What a nice player. He's similar to Jake Kelly, but with a little more flair to his game. When he's in the game you notice him. Jake Kelly seems like the same player when he was here. Too bad he didn't stay healthy.

Indiana State looks like a nice team with a tough matchup.

This kid is nice. Indiana St's bigs are absolute garbage though, they couldn't finish at all. Odum did a great job penetrating and getting people open looks.

He's a punk. He pulled the feign take out a jump shooter's legs move. That's bullsnot.

I didn't see that. I don't know the last time I'd seen that in an actual game. All the years I played pickup ball was that done every now and again, especially when I was younger. It never bothered me when people did it to me. If you're a jump shooter your concentration should be such that all you think about is shooting and making.

I thought he tried to do too much, and turned it over too much.
ISU did not play that well, but could have made this a real game if they had...nice team, but could not finish.

He only had one turnover all game. I'll take a 6:1 assist: TO ratio from my point guard all day. He should have had a lot more assists than that too if his team could finish at all. I thought he was great at breaking down the zone.

Fun to watch, but seemed to pass up short jumpers for flashy passes to the perimeter.

He tried to make regular passes into no look passes which annoys the crap out of me. Just because you turn your head after the pass does not make it a no look pass. He had an awful lot of white guy swag.

Ok, I guess that was what I did not like....seemed out of control and trying to be ''the man'' too much. Latham turned it over too much.
