I've had it...

When was the last time Kirk Ferentz blatantly out coached another coach?
When was the last time Kirk Ferentz out adjusted his opponent at halftime?
When was the last time Kirk Ferentz made a coaching decision that won a game?
When was the last time Kirk Ferentz had a team that the other coach said was simply better prepared?
When was the last time Kirk Ferentz went for the jugular?
When was the last time Kirk Feretnz made a gutsy call to try to win the game?

We have a coach that operates out of fear and does more to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory than any other coach I've ever seen.

He's not a bad program manager, he's not a bad scheme guy, he's not a bad recruiter. But he is absolute ********* on Saturday's. Complete and total *********.

Bottom line is this: We've lost 6 games due to ******** fake punts and another 3 that I can think of off the top of my head because of ******** onsides kicks.

Absolutely brutal, and something that is not acceptable for a head coach at any level, I don't care if you make 4MM a year or $4 a year.

Welcome to the club. It was about a year ago that I pulled the plug as well, after many, many times of being in awe at how brain dead of a game day coach kf is.

I bolded the ones above that have never happened.

Recruiting? WTH have you been watching! We got pretty good kids and god awful coaching! Are you drunk every game?!!

Very good post and it is disheartening but your only choice is to accept and watch or not watch. KF is here at least next year and probably thru 2015.

Our game day coaching is not tops, I have some decent faith in Phil Parker and I see some improvement in the offense, but KF does make or miss some key calls

But special teams has been brutal and I cant believe all the fake punts and onside kicks, and poor kick coverage we have had the last 3 years.

What an absolute apologist. Not to mention if we blow up the fake we get the ball at midfield in a one score game but no big deal as you would put it.

The fake punt was a turning point but if we rush he punts it, that is an option to run the fake just like in the Wisky game in 2010.

We were down by 6 points and had not returned a punt all day, we needed the ball back so just friggin rush the punter with 6 guys and make him punt it, then fair catch most probably, see was all that that hard to do.

Iowa is pushing closer to the edge, bordering on the final years of Mac.

Fair point and we had zero return yards at that point, our back-up return man in and most likely given the field position that it was going to be a punt around our 10 yard line which is rarely returnable. So we decide to call for the punt return? OK!

The op's points are definitely making this fan weary. And at some point soon, that weariness turns into something else that can be difficult to come back from.

But at it's very worst, nothing about this program will ever resemble the pathetic Sick Cow College.

Not to mention our top punt return guy, Martin-Manly, was out. I was furious when I seen Iowa get burned once again on the fake punt.

Honestly the head coach should be fired for this alone on Monday. Dantonio is known for doing this as well but our head coach is the only one in the stadium totally unaware.
