I've been pretty critical of JVB and I feel bad

He's just a kid and he's trying hard. So here are some things that are nice about JVB.

1) It's not all his fault. His receivers kinda stink too.
2) It's not all his fault, having a new OC is kinda hard.
3) It's not all his fault, that the new OC has a system that relies heavily on quick decisions and coolness under pressure.
4) It's not all his fault, we have a walk-on FB as our starting RB. (Nevermind that he is MOSSAD)
5) It would take a Heisman caliber season for me to not be critical of an ******* who gets off on hiding in a tree and shooting a bear that has been baited into being there.

So there you have it. I'm still sore about that schmuck shooting that bear.

EDIT - NOW THIS ******* HAS SHOT A DEER? SOMEONE QUICKLY CUE UP MY COUSIN VINNY!

you hippies are funny

Dude, you want to impress me? Go to an area where you know there are bears, be quiet enough that they don't hear you and shoot one in their natural environment.

What JVB did is no different than someone sending you a text message that Barta is in town and wants to talk to you about your opinions for the next football coach.

I have no issue with hunting for sport, or for food, but if what JVB did is considered sport, than it explains an awful lot about his play this year.

trophy hunting is the domain of short-d!cked losers who can't satisfy a woman

And when they are out hunting fulfilling their hunting needs, their womans sexual needs are being fulfilled by the local neighborhood plastics salesman.

I hate to tell you but most game animals are baited, one way or another, deer, turkeys. Then there is using dogs in a hunt. Tracking game though the woods is a good way to get your cookies blown away by another hunter.

Or for psychopaths.

Vandy's choice to spend two irreplaceable weeks of time he should have been using to work on familiarizing himself with the new offense and work on adjusting his footwork, drop, and accuracy doing *that* instead shows just how seriously he took his role as a returning B10 starting QB. Every other QB I read about talked about how they spent all summer working on their game, studying tape, and putting together unofficial training sessions with their receivers. But somehow the media kept trying to tell us to all be so impressed with Vandy's choice of what to do to prepare for his final season.

JVB: low quality character on the field and off.

Read closer, I'm giving him some breaks on the foosball - it's his character I'm assassinating now.

That's not hunting, that's douchebaggery of the utmost.

Good point. Another certain B1G qb who everyone likes to make fun of spent his time off with a professional quarterbacks coach.

Hippies go home, you are embarrassing to the rest of us. Hunting is an American way of life... If you don't love it leave it.

I just saw the picture, I don't know any details. How did he shoot the bear?

Whoa people.......he's a college kid. Many of you have gone too far attacking JVB personally. Knock it off.
Violation of forum rules:Time for a Reminder as well as a few new additions. Being that this is posted and tacked to the top of this forum, the defense of 'I didn't know the rules' will not apply.

1) No calling out players. You can be critical of situations and circumstances, but posts along the lines of 'Player X Sucks' won't be tolerated. Violators may be banned

I know 1hawkeye1 - I started off the entire thread with the premise that I felt bad and that he was a kid and trying hard. People are cruel.
