It's to bad we waisted that europe trip

didn't have a full squad and most of them are gone now!! anybody know if we're eligible for another summer outing like that in the near future? It would be nice if the new coach had something like this to offer as a recruiting tool.

yes, it was a nice European vacation for Lick,, Fuller,Lil Lick,Tucker....all on Iowa's dime. It was touted as a great bonding experience for the team...yea,right.
I do not begrudge them the perk, but sure wish it had been lavished on people that would be with the program beyond one year. So, turns out that only Gatens,Brommer,and Cole survived the trip to play beyond one year...hmmmm.

Barta should have had the stones to put the nix on that one. Remember when some idiots on this board were posting that the Hawks beat the Greek national team, only to realize that it was really just some rag tag collection of scrubs that had nothing to do with the Greek national team?

It's an every four year thing, the trip to Europe was postponed twice and last year they just decided to do it because of how many times it was postponed.

In coming freshmen can't go on those trips anyway...so it would have to be the promise of one 2 years down the line.

There was some real bad mojo coming from last year's team. Never mind how bad they were under Lickliter's direction last year, look what they did to the whole country of Greece. They needed a change.
