It's OK... you can admit it

Yep, Iowa had two cracks at IU - just couldn't get it done.

I do have to agree that I don't really like not having a true round robin, but guess that's what happens when the league is as big as it is, unless you have everyone playing 26 conference games.

The big IS big.

Playing a round robin B1G schedule is an exception to the rule. Until Lute's first season the B1G played fourteen conference games (five teams twice & four teams once). When Penn State started conference play in '93 the B1G played eight teams twice & two teams once. For Davis' last two seasons & Alford's eight seasons the B1G played sixteen conference games (six teams twice & four teams once). So, historically, the B1G has seldom played a round robin schedule.

Other than PSU and OSU on the road (and the ISU game)....in retrospect I am very happy with this season, thus far.

Sure the 6 game stretch was awful to watch, especially with such close losses, but overall, this team exceeded my expectations....thus far.

And if we win 2 in the B1G and 2 in the Dance, I will be very pleased overall.

Yes, I would prefer a B1G tourney title and Elite 8, just don't expect it.
