I watched an Iowa coach make the requisite moves to win the game. Switching between man and zone...sometimes switching within a possession, made the difference. That, along with a minor tweak that I thought was genius: having Cartwright move to the wing at times during the 2nd half. This move allowed the first pass and to get movement and into the offense, as UNI was really pressuring the wings, but with Cartwright's quickness, he could come off screens and still get open...brilliant, subtle coaching move.
These adjustments may not make a difference against a MSU or Illinois, but it is just good to see a coach, regardless of sport, make the timely adjustments in-game to win.
