Here's hoping Andrew is healthy enough to play tonight and has a great senior year.

Really liked Andrew's progress last season. Shows what playing time and excellent coaching will do for a player. Andrew contributed significantly at times last year. His game against Sullinger was very good, and showed what he is capable of. I expect him to continue his progress this year, and help the Hawks to a much better season. Basketball is finally here....

I admit that I was never a fan of Lick taking Brommer in the first place, but he is a hawkeye so I support him now. I had high hopes for his development this offseason, but injuries probably limited his progress. Too bad cus he was the guy who could least afford an inactive offseason. If he did improve, it would be huge for Iowa's chances of a better record. Center is our weakest position, clearly, and having a 250lb strongman mature senior in there could have really helped. Lets hope it still happens. Sometimes seniors just surprise you.

I think Brommer is much better than Archie and could have a decent year.

He actually played pretty well at times last year other than the pointless fouls trying to hedge on screens.

If he can just eliminate that hip check move it will cut his fouls in half.

He is the dorkiest-looking Hawkeye cager since Kyle Galloway.

I think taking my advice and losing that arm sock was clearly the turning point in his career.

He's definitely shown flashes of what he's capable of. If he can avoid those dumb fouls 30 feet from the basket, and know when to just let a guy score (when he doesn't have position and can't get a block without fouling), then he should have a solid year.
