Back in the day, right after Jon left Scout.com (HawkeyeNation) I got banned from HawkeyeInsider. I did a dicey play-of-words in a thread. It was on the edge but not over-the-top. No warning or time-out, just gone. I like how Jon gives a time-out for a bit.

Anyway, what sucked & pizzed me off is that one of the mods (Jean) played along with my posts & also walking the edge of the topic. Anyway, I go to log in & I'm banned. It's been 1-2 yrs & still cannot get in. Not that I care to now.

I like the way this thread is going...

... this site has slowed down so much since Jon added the ads.

The site was almost unusable until I switched to Mozilla Firefox. Now the pages load almost instantly. Much faster than IE8.
