I didn't mind Duke being there...if Butler was going to win one, I'd rather have it come at Duke's expense than another non-powerhouse. It made it more compelling for me...that being said, I would've watched even if it had been 2 non-powers.

A team that is consistently in the NCAA tournament ( usually making decent runs) and is usually a fixture at or near the top of their conference and in the the Top 10.

Kind of like MSU always seeming to be in the thick of things.

I hate Duke with a passion. But even I have to admit Coach K is probably one of the three greatest coaches of all time. What he has been able to do at a small private school like Duke is unbelievable.

They have been in 8 title games in the past 20 or so years...that's a pretty good clip...not sure about how many Final 4s in that time.
