Do you know what the differences were between when ISU played in this bowl and the 2 times Iowa did?
1) It got moved to ESPN from the NFL Network
2) The payout increased and this bowl became one of the top 10 bowl payouts, therefore moving up the pecking order in the bowl slots.
When ISU went I believe this bowl picked their Big Ten team right ahead of the Motor City Bowl or next to last, when Iowa went it picked before the Alamo both years and the Gator in another year.
This isn't saying Iowa made it better but the facts are when ISU played in this bowl it was one of the lower tier bowls and the year after they made a lot of changes and made it one of the top tier bowls. It now picks a Big 12 team before the Holiday Bowl, that is how much this bowl has improved since ISU last played in it and probably won't ever again. But hey there is still hope for the Holiday Bowl since it continues to get moved down the pecking order.

I am really, really disappointed by the extremely low quality of clown trolls on this site. The bullzeye is the size of a barn, and these mouth-breathers can't even get near it.
