Saying that the Liberty Bowl > Staying home is like saying bloody diarrhea > constipation, because hey, at least I pooped.
This coming from the fanbase that made fun of ISU for going to the Insight.com Bowl, only to find themselves playing there the next 2 years. Yes. We get it. HN has a case of the hurty butt. That's fine, but at least lose with style.

As bad as the insight bowl was, it moved up in the pecking order after ISU was there. It literally was a better bowl when Iowa was there than when ISU was there. I'd imagine they got tired of having to take the Clowns and decided to shell out for some better teams.

Counterpoint: Clowns are like a little brother standing on his big brothers shoulders and acting like he's 8 feet tall.
The 2012 Clowns satisfied the bare minimum to make a bowl game. You finished 3-6 in a conference that turned out to be a paper tiger, and has as many ranked team as the freaking BoneG. The only way you can even rationalize your season as anything but an failure is to juxtapose it against an Iowa team that had their worst season in a decade. Now you guys come in here acting like you're hot **** when we all know who you really are (seriously dude, bragging that you had a #25 BCS ranking two months ago?).
Well, I suppose that makes sense. Err, wait. The Insight committee actually skipped over Mizzou to take ISU instead. Please, just stop.

And to think, that 8-4 Missouri team had a chance to play a 6-6 Minnesota team, but instead was forced to play a 9-4 Navy team instead. Sucks to be them. GO ClOwNZ!!!

Another interesting fun fact, 400,000 people watched that Insight Bowl the people wanted, with ISU vs. Minny.

No see Corky, I get all of your facts. Your facts are not making the compelling case you think they are. There is nothing, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, you have added that doesn't make ISU appear more pathetic than I thought they were when I woke up this morning.
