What a historic banner run for teh clwon. They have won the Super Bowl two straight years AND ballin' in le bowl gaemz!!
What's next, a winning record? A conference championship? These are heady days indeed.

Your sentiments are true here... no honest Cyclone fan would tell you otherwise. But there is plenty of minimizing going on here despite it. My guess is that Hawk fans would be pretty happy with any bowl at this point, no?

I recall Hok fans being pretty meh about the insight bowl after last season. Not a lot of enthusiasm.
Hell, Jonny Website didn't even organize a bowl trip.

Yes, I would love to have a bowl to make December go a little faster and bowl season will suck without one. No doubt about that

Would you agree that Cyclone fans are over here calling out Iowa for not making a bowl because they are trying to deflect the disappointment they feel for facing Tulsa again in an underwhelming bowl? Everything I have heard from my friends has been about how Iowa isnt making a bowl, etc and nothing about the actual bowl ISU is playing in. That's why I think thats the case
 
This is badass! Hell, I thinking of dropping $20 on a Tulsa Tshirt and driving down to Mtown just to booze up and watch teh Clowns lose.

I think there is definitely some of that. To be honest, that doesn't describe me, because I thought this would be a 4 win season for us. And while 6 wins isn't great, it exceeded my expectations. I am from the era where we never went to a bowl (you could pick many eras here) so any bowl is good to me. Sure, I would love to get to the point where we get better bowls, and I hope we are heading in that direction.

It's easy to smash attendance records when your stadium only seats a few hundred fans.

I mean, I didn't but I think bowl games are stupid.
