ISU pooped the bed....again

2016 in Ames is going to be painful with Richardson and Lazard carve us up.

Hey ******* not only is the 2016 game in Iowa City but Richardson will be gone by then, I would think a Clone fan would know these things. But it is ISU's super bowl and the one game Rhodes get the guys up for so it's hard to compete with them.

All this talk of 'heart' by ISU.....they are still headed for 4 wins max. There just isn't any glory in that at all no matter how hard they put the hearts into it.

I watched the game last night and even though their defense is terrible, they're a fun team to watch on offense. Watching a competent offensive coordinator get the most out of the available talent is not something I get to see much being an Iowa fan.

Honestly, I think we (myself included) as Iowa fans like to maintain the "Iowa state beats us all the time b/c its their super bowl"...in reality, I doubt the clones play us about the same way they play the entire rest of their schedule (I.e. scratching and clawing for every first down they can get, cuz that's how they feel like they HAVE to play). The difference between the 6-10 teams in any given year that will end up beating the clones & Iowa (who will lose to them 60% of the time under Ferrets) is those 6-10 teams have the talent & coaching to overcome an inferior team coming at them with both barrels.

ISU is a top ten team as far as strength of schedule using the NCAA method. They come in at #7, in fact.

We, on the other hand, slot in at a healthy 85th for the 2014 season. Personally, I'd be hesitant to talk smack after losing to them, especially in light of this information.

On this website, they're #6 and we're 70th....

So then they have an excuse to lose 8-10 games a season every year?

I bet ISU fans are ****** that they beat us, nothing hurts your SOS more than winning games.

The B12 has no good out of conference wins, Iowa states win over us is the conferences best out of conference win. They lost every game against quality opponents and that's why they won't get a team in the playoff.

TCU smoked Minnesota. That's a lot more impressive than Clown U's nailbiter against us.

Oh that's right we didn't, so what's the point of this thread?

So people like Mike can try and make themselves feel better because ISU lost.

In reality, all it does it does it make him look all butthurt since Iowa State came into our house and beat us.

Look's like you're the butthurt one my man, I had Maryland -4.5 on Saturday.

I'm a Hawk fan. I just think we should back off a bit when they actually beat us and acknowledge that, at least this year, their schedule is stacked against them.

I went ahead and got you an XXL shirt, hope that fits. I know a place that has some extra ISU 2013 Top 25 SOS! shirts left over too, but you need to hurry to get those.
