Is This A Bad Stat?

Any chance we can combine all of the threads purporting to show statistically that Iowa has a bad offense? I mean, every thread on here eventually devolves into a contest in who can hate Petras/BF/OL more, but I don't think we need ANOTHER thread about ANOTHER stat showing Iowa has a bad offense.

EVERYONE ON THIS BOARD KNOWS THAT IOWA'S OFFENSE IS BAD!!!!!

Well, don't open it.

That's what people do on message boards. Go police somewhere else then, or start your own board.

You all who are in the camp of the "young O line excuse" need to understand that the "kids" are on the road this time and are facing a crowd that has had the most excitement they've had in .....years. The magic punter better be extra special.

To add to my last post, 2015 is our best team in the past decade or more. Here's a look at the breakdown from our best team:

Punting 192.7 ypg (4.7 punts per game)
Offense 386 ypg

2019 (10-3) was nearly identical.

Last year:

Punting 263 ypg
Offense 303 ypg

I really don't know what this proves, but I was curious and thought I'd share.

Imagine if they play this game in bad weather. It could possibly end in a zero-zero tie

Iowa/Rutgers 2022

It is bad. But I care more about:
1) Points per game
2) Yards per play

PPG: 13.7 (ranked 124/131)
Yards/play: 3.8 (ranked 129/131)

Well, I'm no rocket surgeon, but I'm pretty sure if you have a bad PPG or YPP, that a team is going to have a bad offense and be ranked pretty low. But I digress.
