Fran said it will be a game-time decision whether he plays against Purdue. I think we saw his importance to this team last night.

When the players were going through the handshake line, it looked like he wasn’t wearing a boot. But he appeared to be limping noticably. Sure hope he can get back in time for Purdue. But again, I wouldnt want him to risk reinjuring it by returning too early either. Its gonna be a long B1G season. We are gonna need him healthy and at 100%.

If I'm not mistaken, wearing a heavy boot is indicative of a high ankle sprain, which is much more severe, taking longer to heal.

I hope they don't rush him back and make the injury linger throughout the B1G slate. Then again, this is probably a piece of cake compared to the 10lb baby he gave birth to just before the season.
