Iowa's Wins v. Losses

Maybe the Iowa//ISU game is our super bowl.:) I am kidding.......just joking around.

Shocking. That's where Iowa is as a program. Usually beat the bad teams, and lose to the good teams.

Stop complaining...we could be sitting where Northwestern is. All the hope going into the season, transfer QB, almost the entire defense back...etc...1-6. That team, with their offense, could end up 2-10. Can you imagine this board if we were 1-6 right now...pitch forks and torches circling the Ferentz neighborhoods. We are 6-2 and some of you are already ready to fire him. Season's not over...there is time for a run...the defense is certainly good enough.

We are 6-2...we beat everyone we should...we lost the two games that were good opponents. We have issues with one group...our offensive line...and we still could have won those games. We weren't overmatched in any other area of those games. Michigan did nothing for 3 quarters...Penn State moved the ball ok over the last three quarters, but it was damn difficult. KF and BF are former offensive line coaches. Let's hope they earn some money over this two week period.

Haha, i know but it still gets thrown around in here and on broadcasts.
Kinda like Iowa excels at running the football

It was true up until..........uuuummmm, 2005.

Oh the good ole days back when you knew Iowa was going to do 2 things: physically beat the shit out of their opponents regardless of how talented or fast they were, and get better as the season progressed.

2008 was another one of those seasons.
