Iowa's Team Length Was A Problem for Ohio State.

What a great win. One could see the game plan being implemented to penetrate the zone. Terrific passing by Iowa & they knocked down some outside shots to keep Ohio St honest. A terrific overall game by the Hawks. I thought Iowa's total team length was the difference yesterday as they were able to rebound many misses for second chance points. Also, I think it helped to pass in the middle of that zone & distribute to the base line & other open players. Often times on a miss, Iowa players would play tip to keep the ball live and away from the Ohio State rebounders.

I don't think Ohio State matched up with Iowa very well, and I think Iowa's length was the reason why.

White, Uthoff, Olaseni, and even Woody really use their lengh to keep balls alive that other teams simply can't do. It's fun to watch.

Iowa's length in the frontcourt was a big advantage. Both on D and on the offensive boards. I believe Fran Fraschilla said Iowa led the B1G in offensive rebounding.
