Iowa's coaching staff last night

I honestly don't understand what he's worried about? Maybe Fran's doctor told him to treat his heart like a baby. and you should too.

I am awaiting Law's stellar breakdown of Sunday's coaches bench demeanor. What say you Law?

Unfortunately, I didn't see it. Was reduced to watching the game on BTN2Go, which had more deficiencies than your existing health coverage under the Affordable Care Act:

1) The feed from CHA dropped at each commercial break, so no shots of the bench, crowd, etc.
2) You had to re-acquire the game in the app when the feed resumed from the commercial break, so it was always a crapshoot when to try. Usually missed 30 seconds to a minute of action.
3) The volume always went to zero after each commercial break, so it was necessary to re-set that.
4) The audio was always ahead of the video, so you heard the clank of the rim or the reaction of the crowd before you actually saw what happened to the shot.

Didn't make it to the half before my wife decided my attention was required elsewhere and I had no good reason to argue otherwise. I caught a little of the Bluder halftime interview but then it was time for dinner.

So what did you think of Fran and teh staff yesterday afternoon?

Reads like another post of someone looking for something to complain about.

It's unfortunate that this is what this site and most message boards have turned into. A handful of people looking for something to complain about, and a couple handfuls of people waiting to tell them how ridiculous they are being. It's the same thing on repeat. Maybe I'm crazy but I used to think there was more in depth discussion back in the day. There are very few threads started here that aren't sidetracked within the first couple pages by someone complaining about something completely irrelevant to the thread topic.

If you complained about the last game, I'm sure you would have felt the same about this one. Me, I thought the staff did a good job.

Please don't mis-characterize what I posted. Obviously Fran & Co. are doing some great things with the program. So far its clobbering the teams it's expected to clobber. But there were several TV shots of Fran and the staff sitting looking bored, staring at the floor or straight ahead, not talking, during the second half of the MES game. There was a visual disconnect between the TV guys talking about how the players like each other so well and the coaches view each other as family and what was being shown on the screen.

The belief that you can tell how a coach is coaching/what he is thinking/how he interacts with his players just based of seeing him for a couple of second clips while he is on the side line is moronic.

Actually, there were multiple situations where Fran was talking to Pete late in the second half during a dead ball. I could hear Francis and Fran from my seat coaching about defense positioning, while the backups were in.

I will validate this. And the assistants were coaching up the guys during the timeouts. Jok was getting an earful on how poorly he was blocking his guy out.

Also, I'm pretty sure none of the coaches were staring at the floor after Speraw got a face full of Woody's keister while laying flat on his back.
