IOWA-WISCONSIN ON FOX - 7:30 PM CENTRAL TIME

Give me Gus and Joel over College Gameday.
College Gameday will probably be in Tuscaloosa for Texas A&M at Alabama.
Not announced, but that's probably the CBS game at 2:30am.
ABC may have Nebraska at Michigan at 7pm.

Is that who we are getting to announce the game? I hope so. The other FOX college game announcers are pretty bad.

For those complaining about the late start, maybe you can bring your pillows with you to Kinnick and take naps between time outs

Gotta work a 10 hour shift on Sunday, but Damm I love me a night game!!

Just heard on the Morehouse & Dochterman podcast, ABC called Iowa about availability of locations. So we're in the mix for Gameday. The other candidate is Oregon vs Stanford (which I guess Herbstreit is calling that game so that's an advantage for them).

I'm in upstate SC. My buddy was in Columbia a few years ago when a small 'cane hit and they had historic flooding. If this fucker goes cat 5 and lingers once it hits land, it's gonna get ugly. They got over 18 inches in 24 hours in Columbia a few years ago. It shouldn't be that bad up where I am, but we had like 3 weeks straight of rain followed by one of those pop up afternoon thunderstorms that dumped 4 inches in under 2 hours a few weeks ago and we were landlocked off of that for 3 hours and I had water threatening my house. My buddy said the winds won't be an issue, but if this thing stops he thinks it will be like one of those summer storms that goes on for a day or two.
Well dammmm Jeff...when did you abandon Illinois?

April 1. The winter was miserable and the Peoples Republic of Evanston passed a 19% property tax hike and the state passed a huge income tax hike. I wasn't gonna stay there and work my ass off to fund the public union pension fund, especially after they limited deductibility of state and local taxes. Temp was in the 20's when I left Illinois on 3/31 and it was high 70's on Easter Sunday when I got down here so we went boating. The summer gets hot but it ain't any worse than the summer I worked in a warehouse in Iowa sorting rotten soybeans. Actually, there were a lot of days where it was hotter in Iowa than where I am this past summer.

Excellent. Well done. I am in the process of selling my investment (rental) property in Beach Park. Taxes are an eye-watering $7200/year on a 200K property. I can make more rental income and pay $5K/year less in taxes by investing locally. CYA Illinois.

Good luck selling it. I put my place up at a reasonable price and took the first reasonable offer. The morons underneath me were listed $50k higher than me and listed in February. Still languishing on the market after 4 price cuts. Oops.

My taxes down here are less than the tax increase was in Illinois. That place needs to land Amazon's HQ in the worst way because middle aged middle class people are bouncing in record numbers. With the real estate taxes now sitting close to 3% in the suburbs a lot of folks are looking to leave.
