Iowa vs Purdue offical game thread

ANOTHER team younger then US...out playing and out coaching. Purdue will be top 5 in Big ten next year....and we will still struggle to be 8th.

It would be great to get into the ncaas but we would probably lose in first round.

Maybe NIT and getting a good run of games would be better for this team

Outclassed by a terrible team. Marble needs to stop thinking about the NBA because he couldn't play in the WNBA now.

Purdue isn't younger than us, but they're young. However, their young players are better than our young players unfortunately.

Tough loss. Poor shooting cost the Hawks...its frustrating and hooefully can improve. Outside chance of NCAA tourney gone.

Just too much inconsistency and scoring droughts. Its fixable though.

Poor coaching. Should have called time out with 10 seconds left and draw up a play for someone who is hot. Instead we let street ball Marble thug up more losing shots and fall to 2-5 in the Big 10. Awesome.

In all fairness to Marble he had two decent shots and had there been 10 minutes left instead of just seconds refs probably would have sent him to the line as he was bumped from behind on both shots. Most of these officials are gutless to make a call that could decide a game.

These guys have no mental toughness at all. They probably cant win at PSU or Nebraska.

Dude shut up. You have no right to say that garbage. We were behind and made a comeback to take the lead. If anything it was our shooting that hurt us, mental toughness brought us back in this game. Some questionable decisions at times but young teams do that. The way they shot tonight, most teams would have struggled worse than we did tonight. No reason for your type of comments.

By not making the call, they are making a call to determine the outcome of the game. I thought Purdue got away with a lot of grabbing and bumping in OT. But, FT's were the killer. This is now the third big 10 game Iowa could have one including Indiana and MSU. They have to start winning those games!

Marble is killing them right now. He takes all the motion out of the offense.

I think Aaron White has to start taking some 3's and other jumpers in games especially early to open up his game.

Marble needs to just work on his shot period.

If those two cant get it squared away the NIT might not be there
