iowa vs oregon

I think it would be more of our offenmsive scheme and can we score on majority of possesions and do it a slow grinding pace. A bunch of 5 yrd runs, 5 yrd passes, a bunch of 3rd down conversions but moving the ball methodically. Doing that and actually ringing the QBs bell once or twice would help Iowa and only allow around 28. This is all dpending on IF our Special Teams contains them. We start to give them a 50 yrd field to play with and watch out.

I don't know, I'm just glad I got LeGarette Blount on my fantasy team. I wouldn't have won without him last weekend.

GTech and Oregon are completely different teams. We would give up over 40 IMO.

Oregon isn't completely different from last year, though. Ohio State shut them down, and we have a great defense when the unit plays to its potential. They don't play that well against real defenses.

Thats not what he is saying. Yes they are different teams. He is saying that people talk down about the big ten for not putting points on the board. They dont consider that we play a lot better defensive football than most of the country. So they see a team like Oregon and say wow they score so many points they look at b10 team and see lower scores and figure that the b10 isnt as good. Then we go to the bowl games and they think that the b10 teams like Iowa and OSU last year just played lights out and Ga Tech and OR didnt have very good games. So for people who dont understand this keep watching espn and some guy can read you a score and show you some clips and you can base your opinion by whats on paper. Kinda like how people choose the rankings.

Oregon in 3 consecutive weeks spotted the opponent 17 points or more, does anybody honestly believe they could spot Iowa 17 points and win? I will wait to form an oppinion on OR when they play AZ. I don't buy into all the points, I think it's more about the defenses. AZ has the best D in the PAC-10. If they put 50+ on them, I'll be a believer.

Even Arizona's defense isn't GREAT, they were just able to pin their ears back on us. But, they do have the best D in the Pac-10. 50+ and I'd be wary. Under 40 and Oregon is officially a fraud title contender, just like last year.
