I don't see the point in playing the worst Florida team of the decade. If you beat them, then you beat their worst team of the decade, if you lose to them then you lost to worst Florida team of the decade. Plus, Florida is not in Jacksonville, its Miss St.

Yeah, I should have looked first. Pretty much a wash between Missou and MSU.

You do realize Gator Bowl picked a 7-5 Michigan team over us. A team that WE BEAT! So even if it moved up the pecking order, still a lame bowl.

this should be an exciting border rivalry ... but it just isn't ... just like Minn wouldn't be if they weren't in the same conference, because there is no border population ... unlike Iowa/Neb (Omaha/CB/SC), Iowa/Ill (QC), or even Iowa/Wisc (Dubuque)

You do realize that Michigan is one of the top 5 programs for total wins in CFB history and has one of the largest alumni bases in CFB, correct?! Most other things being equal, they will get picked over Iowa 9 times out of 10.

There is no such thing as a lame bowl. Lame fans....now that is a different story. You are the poster child of a lame fan!
