....because they have fewer possessions than most anyone in the NCAA. Iowa was able to speed them up, and Wisconsin does not have the athletes to play an up and down game. Hence the reason why we scored more points than we did today. It's not that hard to figure out.

8 total fouls on Illinois, that from a team that was the 4th worst team in the BG, and that pitiful slow unathletic Wiscosin team that beat OSU today, try again on your epic fail of trying to put Iowa down,
and it must have just tickled you to death that Iowa lost

On Herby's side, I think Illinois was allowed to mug Gatens for much of the second half while he was running off screens. They weren't just "bumping" him a little, he was get held and knocked around a fair amount. Gatens off screens is an important part of our offense, would have been nice to have a little less contact.

Stop being an idiot. We dictated the tempo against Wisconsin, and forced them out of their comfort zone. That's why we beat them, twice (and that's exactly what herkyattack was saying). But Illinois can play the uptempo game, too. They're more athletic than us, so they beat us at our own game.
 
just watched the replay of the play that got over turned. If you go frame by frame you can tell the ball goes off Illinois. not that it matters because no one has any business overturing a call that close. they went down and hit a 3 on that possession and killed our run
