Iowa vs Hampton Game Thread

Woodbury line - 3 fouls, 3 turnovers, 2 rebounds, 4 points

He will never be a 10 point, 8 rebound per game guy, let's face it. Too foul prone, can't get inside enough because of his poor ball handling and alligator arms.

I'd actually settle for 6 or 7 rebounds. The Big10 actually only had 1 player last year who averaged 8 or more rebounds last year.

Really happy with the win. Lot to improve on but that's how you beat OOC competition.

Uhl had some bright moments. Good looking freshman.

Really was hoping Mike would come out looking good this year, but looked pretty much the same as the end of last year. White's not a go to scorer, I don't think Uthoff has the mentality to be one either, not sure where we're going to get points in the halfcourt setting when we really need them.

name one positive thing. It was the season opener and you expect perfection.

I've named several in this thread, I thought Clemmons looked good, White did his usual thing, Uthoff shot well, Uhl looked good. I don't expect perfection, I would have just liked to see our starting pg look better than the 4th or 5th best guard in the game.
