Good game so far. This Hampton team is a good team to start off the season.

White is on course for a triple double. In about 15 minutes of play, he has 17 points, 6 assists, and 5 rebounds.
And as is typical for freshman, he just had a guy (Cheivous, I think) blow by him on the wing.

Clemmons looks much better, much more under control. Gesell not being able to create anything against Hampton doesn't bode well for an improved half court offense come B10 play.

Overall the starters played really well. Second half will be good for the backups to try to find their rhythm.

I did like Josh's hustle and midrange fadeaway jumpshot for two.....
It he reaches his potential this season on a regular basis, that will also make us a difficult team to stop. I like the killer instinct and hope they continue it throughout the season, in addition to holding a late lead. Would make all the difference in the World.....

It's progress. 4 years ago, Iowa couldn't blow out ANYONE.
Hampton is a lot better than some of the garbage teams Iowa played early last season.

Uthoff needs to take 10-15 shots every game this year.
I guess he'll just have to try to get by with Kaminsky, Dekker and Hayes.
