Hawkeyes win 80-62! On to the elite 8!

Iowa will host the next game at 2:00 on Sunday. The next win will be Coach Blunder's 700th.

Washington State has opened up a 15 point lead.

UC Davis closes to within 5 going into the 4th quarter.

Washington State will face the Hawkeyes, they beat UC Davis and improve their record to 15-19.

Colorado were double and sometimes triple teaming Megan. The Hawks got a great game from Alexa tonight scoring 19 points! Megan did manage to score 12 to boost her total so far up to 609 points. Ally chipped in with 15 and Makenzie had 13. Kathleen had 9 just 1 point shy of having 5 in double figures. The Hawks are playing great team basketball and hopefully it continues Sunday! The Hawks are into the elite 8 and 1 more win gets them to the final 4! Michigan and Indiana won today and penn st. lost. 3 B1G teams left in the tourney. Would love to play either one in the championship and kick their a$$!!!!!

Ally has an opportunity to become the all time scoring leader in Hawkeye basketball. She needs 31 points to beat Devin Marble's 2116 points. It's a possibility but she's going to need at least 2 more games. If anybody needs an incentive to come to a Lady Hawk game now would be the time. Possible history in the making. Go Hawks and Go Ally!
