Call one or the other, if you get nothing on 1st down don't call a pass in which the route ENDS at the LOS (which rarely works).
You've put yourself in 3rd and long, they didn't have to do too much.
How about a 5-7 yard route on second down so you could run OR pass on 3rd down.
