Iowa v Northern Illinois Prediction Thread

I posted in Diesel's thread 24-13 NIU. I think Iowa's D struggles to contain the QB. Also, for me a big question mark is whether GDs offensive scheme is meshing with Kurt's slow, deliberate, conservative style of attack, and whether any of three young Iowa QBs, none of whom has taken a snap in college, can carry it out, whatever "it" is.

I also predict my ******* cable provider -- Comcast/(off to)Xfinity(and beyond!) -- will opt for the other 3:30 game and not carry this game. This is the same ******* Comcast/(off to)Xfinity(and beyond!) that so far has failed to support BTN2Go.

Once again check your facts...last year the D did a very good job containing Lynch with the exception of 1 run and that happens from time to time. Holding that team to 17 points was a fantastic D effort.

Hope I'm wrong on all of the above.

A whole lot of Weisman, Bullock and cazeri setting up the PA/waggle stuff, Rudoch(sp?) will probably only throw it 12, maybe 15 times at the most. 34 points is a lot for Iowa team, but i think they will get a couple of turnovers that sets them up for easy points.

with the heat like it is, it might just be a battle of attrition. with that, i think our line play will dominate the game, but the score might not reflect that.

UPDATE: It appears I'll get the Iowa game on a BTN overflow channel but not in high def. That only partially stinks.

Well, so far I'm correct on one prediction. Jeebus, Comcast/(off to)Xfinity(and beyond!), how many channels do I need to watch Michigan a directional Michigan school????? Let me give you a clue: two fewer than the four you're currently giving me. Two of those BTN channels (regular and HD) are supposed to be Iowa and a directional Illinois school. There are one or two Iowans who live on the East Coast ... probably more than you can imagine.

I know: get DISH.
