I don't know or care what firecracker went off in Mel's butt but he has been awesome tonight baby! Maybe we can get unbelievable play out of him the last portion of the year!
 
That was a fantastic first half. That was easily the best defensive performance I've seen in a half so far this season from this team. I'm really happy with Basabe's play. He has the talent to play like that every game, and it's nice to see him live up to his potential. As long as we keep up the tenacious defense in the second half we should have our sixth conference win.
 
I think if Cartwright gets healthy and Mel comes back strong we could be a problem for folks here to end the season and in the tournament. Maybe with a win today and a couple more we can get the 7 seed!
 
Just come out and play with the same intensity and hope the zebras don't change the way they're calling it.
