Currently a pick em game. I havent seen Clemson play but they must not be very good.

Hopefully the Hawks can put it together tonight and get a much needed home W

This game is a match up of opposing strengths. Their front court is their strength while Iowa's back court is their strength. I think the Iowa press could be effective tonight, but I am worried about the interior D big time.

It will be interesting to see how Brownwell coaches since he was a candidate for the Iowa position and Devin Coleman was initially pretty high on Iowa at the start of Fran's tenure at Iowa.

It will be interesting to see who dictates tempo.
Iowa would ideally like to push the ball, while Clemson is fine with few possessions.

You'll know in the first 4-minute set how this game will go. While containing Tanner Smith will be key, as will MG having a decent shooting night, it really comes down to Mel either continuing to flounder or getting into it early. If he gets used a couple times by Jennings this could be ugly like the Camels' Griffin. If he hits his first, it will fuel the other end for him. Brommer, McCabe and even Olaseni will play impact roles - positive or negative to be determined.

I'd like to say Iowa 71 - Clemson 67 but the last 2 games have me gun-shy while Basabe is still a crap-shoot.

I go Clemson 68 - Hawks 61 until proven otherwise.
