I saw the game in person and had the exact same takeaways but I will add I think Iowa actually defended pretty well outside of their failure to blockout and rebound.
-poor three point shooting
-poor FT shooting
-Less Dembele, more Traore
-P Sandfort needs to step up

Unforgivable treasonous coaching that Traore played 4-1/2 in 2nd half and, overall, only 1-1/2 mins more than little Sanford! Ain't no 3-shooter but certainly brings more scoring option, defense and toughness. C'mon Fran!

Was at the game, Iowa played pretty good defense, they couldn't hit a shot. Iowa is going to lose almost every game they have if Payton Sandfort shoots 1-14 from 3. That's probably not going to happen very often, but ya never know.
They really should have lost by 20. I am still high on this team and I think they win some games next week that maybe people don't see coming. I was very encouraged by how well Brock Harding played and I am hopeful he can continue to play this well more consistently.
I also don't think Dix was fully healed - I say sit him out tomorrow too...and heck, sit anyone out that's been banged up - real games start next week.
