Are the Iowa State wrestle off's open to the public? And why is Reader at 174? Is there no one else for him to wrestle at 165? Spangler and Burk will be a good match. If Spangler is as good as was advertised he will push Burk. Weatherman/Mueller and Zabriskie/Thompson will also be worth the drive to see. Most people are giving the 157 spot to Carr but watch out for Sorenson. He is tough as nails and just might be better than Nate. Will be some good matches up there on Friday. Thanks FF.

149 will be most interesting other than that could care less...look for hawks to put up some numbers this year

I am pretty sure that this will be held in the Lied recreation center and open to the public but I'm not 100% positive on that. I'm assuming that the reason Reader is at 174 is for a match. I believe that Sorenson is there only other 165 and he is cutting to try his hand at 157. If he can get down there and be healthy and strong it wouldn't surprise me if he were to beat Carr. It will make the Iowa dual interesting as well as the Hawks are pretty unsettled at this weight too with Ballweg, and now Jannsen and Kerr trying to make the cut.

149 and HWT will be interesting for sure to see where the young guns are at. I know that Spangler had some struggles last year like many freshman but was told he started to figure it out late last year so it could be interesting to see where he is at as well.

There are also rumors that Valles has left the team which would be a huge blow at 125/133 early in the year while Long and Fanthorpe are out and for depth in the future. I'll definitely be interested in all of the results from this.

Two weights interest me. Mueller versus Weatherman, saw both kids wrestle throughout high school. Will be interesting to see how Mueller handles Weatherman. Eric Thompson was a great high school HWT. He came down to Iowa and ISU. Will be interesting to see how he does versus Zabriske.

Mueller has been schooling Weatherman in the room, this from a very reliable source.
