Iowa Should Go The William Perry Route!

Many of you are too young to remember William "The Fridge" Perry who played for the Chicago Bears. He was a 350lb D lineman who Mike Ditka would periodically put in on offense at RB for short yardage, usually at the goal line. This was quite a phenomenon back in 1985.

Maybe Iowa should find the heaviest most athletic guy on the team & put him in the backfield. Think of the media attention that would give Iowa. Hell, the O is already pure suckatood, so might as well garner some media hype. Picture putting a Carl Davis in the backfield & giving him the rock to run.

Anyway, we have never seen anything like the William Perry of the 1985 bears. It was the talk of the land back then & quite fun to watch.

The darn Bears should go the Fridge route. Good night Trestman, Cutler and the whole defense is dropping a huge turd on us Bears fans.

Thank goodness hockey season has started. GO HAWKS and Go HAWKS.

Bears made a huge mistake keeping Cutler. He is physically gifted, but doesn't have it between the ears to ever live up to that contract. The worst part is he's the best QB they have had since 85. Meanwhile the Packers have been hitting the lottery with 2 hall fame QBs.

I will add that each of those HOF QBs were passed up by the Bears before the Packers took them. Thanks for the ineptitude Chicago. GO PACK!

It was SO effective, in fact, that Walter Payton was "passed over" for a goal line TD in his only Super Bowl appearance...

Oh, I thought you were talking about who should replace Ferentz. The Fridge would probably be no worse a head coach than Kirk.

I thought Favre was drafted by Atlanta. The Pack drafted Hasselbeck, though, but he moved on due to the skill at QB the Pack have had for the past roughly 20 years. Plus, I think Seneca Wallace spent some time in GB, meaning they have had two backup QBs who would have been the best QBs on the Bears in the past 30+ years.

The Packers also signed Kurt Warner as a free agent out of college.
