Could happen, but I doubt it will happen that quickly. Then again, Washington's AD lasted 6 months before Nebbie poached him. Who knows.

If she wants to be an AD, you have to be in the SEC or Big 10, and half of those gigs are the same or worse than Iowa, so there is only so much upward mobility.

If she wants to do something else (NFL, Commish, NCAA) she will have options.

Either way, she could get a lot done in 2 years!!!!

Like a 1 and done BB player, or a hot young OC in football, I would rather someone be so successful in my organization that they are hired away by a bigger player, than have someone just be average and keep their job long term.

If Beth can provide a framework to keep WBB, Baseball, and Wrestling on the top end of their sports, stabalize the transitions in football, and figure out a way to fix MBB in the next couple years, we can throw her a send off party.

It worked for Coach Fry. Hire good coaches, watch them succeed, wish them well as they move up the ladder, replace them with another good person, and watch the organization grow.
